Indoor Championships

The 36th Annual Indoor is an all-comer event which precedes the start of the Minnesota High School Season and is at the close of the collegiate indoor season. Open to residents of Minnesota, neighboring States and Provinces.

T-Shirts: Pre-order T-shirts with either online entry or paper entry. Adult sizes small, medium, large, XL, XXL and youth size medium. T-shirts are $12, XXL are $15. There may be a small quantity of T-shirts available meet day but pre-ordering is highly recommended. T-shirts NOT guaranteed if order received after 2/26/16.

Spectator Admission: $5 (ages 6 and under free)

Meet Day Registration: Opens at 9:30 AM in the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse lobby.

USATF Membership Required: All competitors must be or become members of USATF. Register for membership HERE using a credit card, or submit membership payment in addition to meet entry fee with meet registration. Adult membership is $30, youth (18 years of age or younger) membership is $20. Memberships may be submitted with meet day registration.

Awards: Medals to the top three in each age division.

Team Competition: Team scores for this event will NOT be kept.

Age Divisions: 8 & Under - Born 2008 or later; 9-10 - Born 2006-2007; 11-12 - Born 2004-2005; 13-14 - Born 2002-2003; 15-16 - Born 2000-2001; 17-18 - Born 1998-1999; Open - ages 19-39; Masters - ages 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+. Youth athletes will compete in the age division based on their age on December 31, 2016.

Relays: For relays in this meet only, 9-10/11-12/13-14 may combine to form a relay team, 15-16/17-18 may combine to form a relay team, Open-Masters may combine to form a relay team but will be competing in the Open division.

Report for Your Event: Runners are to report to the clerk 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event. The clerk will be located near the start line for the event. Field athletes report directly to the event official prior to the scheduled start time for your event.

Pole Vaulters: You are required to supply your own pole vault pole and must vault on a pole for which you do not exceed the weight rating.

Event Limitations: 8 & Under, 9-10 and 11-12 age group athletes may compete in a total of three events, including the relay events. All other athletes may compete in four events. 8 & Under and 9-10 athletes may compete in any event except Triple Jump, Pole Vault, 3000m and hurdles. 11-12 athletes may compete in any event except Triple Jump, Pole Vault and 3000m.
