The 28th Annual Indoor is an all-comer event which precedes the start of the Minnesota High School Season and is at the close of the collegiate indoor season. Open to residents of Minnesota, neighboring States and Provinces.
Entry Fee: $7 for first event, $3 each additional event.
Entries must be postmarked by 03/03/08
Late Fee: $10 for first event, $3 each additional event.
Admission: $2 for spectators - adults and students.
Race Day Registration is open from 12:30 to 1:00 in the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC) lobby.
Athletes may enter the meet and join USATF on race day, however as stated above, a late entry fee will be charged.
USATF Membership: All competitors must be or become members of USA Track & Field. If you are currently not a member, add an additional $19.95 for youth and $29.95 for open & masters.
Awards: USATF medals to the top three in each age division. Note: Non-scoring "guests" (Canada, Iowa, Dakotas, Wisconsin participants) will receive event medals.
Team Competition: Each event will be scored for team competition. Individuals must indicate on their entry forms which USATF Club they compete for. Clubs may renew or register for 2008 membership on the day of the event.
Participation Limitations: Bantam & Midget age group athletes are limited to a total of three (3) events. Events for Bantam & Midgets will be limited to: 60M, Mile, 400, 800, 200, Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Put.
Junior Olympic Age Divisions:
Bantams - Born 1998 or later, Midgets - Born 1996-1997, Youth - Born 1994-1995, Intermediate - Born 1992-1993, Young - Born 1990-1991
Open & Masters: Open 19-39, Masters 40 and over, with 5 year age groups.
Relays: The 4 x 200M and 4 x 400M relays are open to High School, Open & Masters Teams Only! High School age athletes may put together a relay team that crosses age groups for this event only. Example: you may put together a relay team that is made up of intermediates & young for one squad.
Clerking/Reporting for Your Event: Be advised you must report to the clerk (east end of track), no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of your running event.
Off Limits Areas: Athletes are to stay out of the east end of the fieldhouse (basketball courts) and the infield. Spectators and athletes are expected to utilize the bleachers for seating.
